Sandra Lance received her Master of Fine Arts in Ceramics from the University of Florida in 1999. She completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Ceramics, Magna Cum Laude, in 1995 at N.Y.S.C.C. at Alfred University. Today, she is a full-time studio potter and ceramics instructor. National and regional juried exhibitions include Ceramics 2003-4th Biennial Exhibit of North American Clay in Guilford, CT, juried by Susan Peterson, Faculty Show, 1999 at Savannah College of Art & Design, Bergen Hall Gallery, Savannah, GA, NCECA 1999 Clay National, Columbus, OH, Three Rivers Arts Festival, Pittsburgh, Pa, juried by Murray Horne, and Ceramics 99, 2nd Biennial North American Clay Show, Guilford, CT, juried by Andrea and John Gill. Her work is published in 500 Animals in Clay, Lark Books 2006, and The Best of Pottery II, Rockport Publishing, 1998. Her studio is open to the public during the 15th Annual Vermont Open Studio Weekend, May 26 & 27, 2007 from 10 am to 5 PM. Please see www.vermontcrafts.com for detailed information.
